My hypothesis is that when you combine the problem solutions with indicators this will happen:

 

- Water: 

Phenophtalein- no color

Methyl red- red 

Bromothymol blue- blue 

Methyl orange- orange 

 

- Baking Soda

Phenophtalein- no color

Methyl red- orange 

Bromothymol blue- blue 

Methyl orange- orange 

 

- Caustic Soda

Phenophtalein- red

Methyl red- red

Bromothymol blue- purple

Methyl orange- pink

 

- Soapy Water

Phenophtalein- red

Methyl red- red

Bromothymol blue- purple

Methyl orange- pink
